A bill that advanced in the California legislature could require cosmetics manufacturers to list BioMutagens used in personal care products. The bill, SB484 is one step closer to providing consumers access to ingredients linked to cancer or birth defects. There is no reason for cosmetics to have unsafe chemicals and I join the National Environmental Trust, Breast Cancer Fund and the Breast Cancer Action in asking California to protect consumers, cosmetologists and manicurists. The products you use greatly affect your Perfect Balance and lifelong health. You deserve full disclosure so you can make informed choices about the products and cosmetics you use.
